With 67% of the vote, Microsoft (MSFT) defeats eBay (EBAY). Microsoft will advance to the next round to face a yet to be determined opponent.
I am in complete agreement with the description given by one of the voters (Soo Chin):
This fight is like Joe Frazier vs. Mohammad Ali... Two great heavyweights, but there can only be one winner.. in this case.. the Mohammad Ali of business -- Microsoft.

Whew! That was one heck of a fight. For a second there, I didn't think I'd make it through with Microsoft.
With this battle under my belt, I think I can take on just about anyone with Microsoft. ;-)

I pulled a "secret weapon" from left field, and we'll see how it performs in the contest.
I do, in fact, think that my idea has a larger moat than Microsoft, and we'll just have to wait and see how the voting goes.
