Suggestions?
I've recently returned to blogging after a more than three month absence with my post “On Blogging”. In that post, I discussed some of the problems that come along with blogging. Having explored the downside of blogging, I’m asking for some help exploring the upside.
What did you like most about this site? The blog? The podcast? Which posts? Which episodes? What kinds of subjects? What would you like me to do that I haven’t yet done?
How can I make this site better for you?
Thanks.

I am in an investment club in Australia. We have just set up a blog to document our progress on running our own value investment fund. I have listened to all of your podcasts recently and I must say I have found them extremely informative and helpful. I have also printed out the blog and read that on the tram.
I would love to hear some more podcasts as I see it has been a while since you did the last one the widest moat contest was a great contest and got me thinking. I appreciate book recommendations in the podcasts I also really liked appreciated the value line podcast.
I just read your blog about investment blogs. I hope that in the future I will be in a position to make some intelligent contribution to yours.
All the best

Thanks Paul.
Several people have emailed me about the podcast. I guess some people really enjoyed it. It’s funny how many people read the blog but did not listen to the podcast at all – and yet there were a fair amount of people who enjoyed the podcast best of all. I’m not sure why that is. I guess it’s just a case of different people looking for different things.
Some people have also written that I should make it easier to comment to the blog. It had once – long ago – been very easy to comment to the blog, but I had such problems with spam comments slowing me down (whenever I would do anything on the blog) that I decided to require people to sign in. Since then – no spam. I used to get several hundred spam comments a week at a minimum. Many of them never appeared on the site, but it still required that I spend a lot of time sorting through them – especially as some genuine comments were marked as spam.
Glad you enjoyed the podcast.
Thanks again for your suggestions.

Paul,
You wrote: "We have just set up a blog to document our progress on running our own value investment fund."
Feel free to provide a link to the blog and let us all know where it is if you don't mind some new readers. I'm sure some people who read this blog would like to check your club's blog out; I know I would.

I only recently discovered this blog (and the podcast) and must say I'm thrilled that you are blogging again.
I have been searching the web for high quality investing blogs for a long time now and I must say that yours is a refreshing change from the many 'hype' blogs out there.
So far I have enjoyed the Podcast the most, mostly for it's portability but I am thoroughly looking forward to the new blog posts.
Seeing as I am just starting out as an investor, the posts I like the most are those where you go into some depth on a given subject.
One specific subject I would like to see addressed is investing in foreign companies. As a Canadian I often find myself looking at American stocks, but I don't know how to properly factor in currency exchange rate. I know it could potentially have a huge impact on my returns and as such should be considered before making a purchase, but I haven't yet found any good resources on the subject.
That's it for now,
Patrick

Great yes I'd love some new readers
my blog is on http://fatcatsfinance.blogspot.com/
I'm new to blogging I just put it up last weekend so I'm not really sure if anyone has read it yet. So it would be great if you point anyone in our direction. The more people that look over what we are doing and give us feedback the better! I'm sure we will make alot of mistakes en route!
All the best

Please start doing the podcasts again! I've been listening to all the old ones and I am fast running out! I like to listen to your podcasts while I'm on the bus, and I've found your explanation of how to use the metrics really useful.
Thanks for maintaining this blog!
