John B. Sanfilippo & Son (JBSS): Vertically integrated producer of just about every nut there is. Some of these nuts are branded; but, as I know nothing about nuts, I don’t know if any of them are prominent brands. They certainly aren’t leading brands. Stock currently trades well below book value. Briefly a very hot stock (see the 10 year stock chart for JBSS if you don’t believe me).
