Journal Communications

Journal Communications (JRN): Diversified “media and communications company”, which is to say it has a telecom business and a printing services business in addition to its newspapers and television stations. A long established company that had been privately held until quite recently. Has a notable monopoly in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Here’s a bit of useless information: Journal Communication operates in a freakish number of swing states (don’t believe me – check the map!).
