Village Supermarket

Village Supermarket (VLGEA): The little, rinky – dink grocer that could. I’d love to provide a link to Village’s web site, but as far as I know they don’t have one. What would they need one for? On the podcast for Tuesday, December 27th, Village was my pick for an interesting company you haven’t heard of. For those in other parts of the country, or abroad, who may never have set foot in a ShopRite, you can check out ShopRite’s ho-hum site . You can also read a really brief description of Wakefern, the retailer owned co – op of which Village is a member. And don’t forget to take a gander at Village’s 10 year stock chart. Maybe you’d also like to see a head to head comparison of Village and Wal – Mart’s performance over the last ten years.
